We’re incredibly proud to announce that Kitzia, one of our Somerton Middle School artists, has won the Arizona Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (AZALAS) Art Contest in the 6th–8th grade category! 🏆
Her creativity and dedication earned her the honor of representing our district on a major conference stage, where her artwork was showcased for all to see. In addition to this exciting opportunity, she also received a $50 gift card and a poster replica of her winning piece.
👏 Let’s all celebrate Kitzia for her outstanding achievement and artistic talent! Keep shining brightly and inspiring others through your art — this is just the beginning of an amazing creative journey!
