Last night, we had the honor of celebrating our Somerton School District Teacher of the Year nominees at the Yuma County Teacher of the Year Banquet. 🎉

We are incredibly proud of our outstanding educators who were nominated for their dedication, passion, and commitment to student success. We are grateful for everything you do each day.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to all Somerton School District educators. Thank you for everything that you do for our students.

Friendly reminder, that any parent/ guardian wanting to pick up students early after 2:20PM on regular days or 11:40AM on Wednesday will need to wait until the dismissal bell. As students prepare for dismissal and classes have internal movement in hallways to prepare for exiting, requesting a student at this time can be challenging. We ask for your patience and support to allow students to safely exit prior to picking up.

We are SO close to our goal: TDS missed an “A” rating by just 0.43 points. Let’s push together and finish strong!
