Our before and after school clubs are buzzing with creativity, teamwork, and success! Congratulations to the Sun Valley Robodinals, who earned 1st place, and Tierra Del Sol, who took 2nd place at the Yuma County Robotics Competition, both teams are headed to the State Competition! A big shout out as well to our 1st Place Chess winner from Somerton Middle School. Join a 21st Century club to build skills, celebrate achievements, and shine bright! Clubs vary by school.

🎄Christmas Spirit Week! 🎄
Each day from December 15 - 19 will have a fun Spirit Day theme, and we encourage all students to join in the excitement by dressing up and showing their holiday spirit!
Monday 12/15: All Aboard the Polar Express (wear Christmas pajamas)
Tuesday 12/16: Tinsel & Twinkle Toes (wear holiday socks or wear sparkles, sequins, glitter or shiny christmas accessories)
Wednesday 12/17: Christmas in Whoeville (dress like a Whoeville character)
Thursday 12/18: Baby, It’s Cold Outside! (wear an ugly christmas sweater)
Friday 12/19: Calling All Santa’s Helpers (dress up as an elf, reindeer or any Christmas Character)

Somerton Families are invited to attend the Children's Museum & Regional Center for Border Health Pop-Up Playlab on Tuesday, December 9th at 4:30PM. It will be held at the San Luis Walk-In Clinic located at 214 West Main Street, Somerton AZ. Registration for the event is required at playlab.givesmart.com

We will be selling Christmas lights and Santa hat that will be used for our Christmas performances.
Prices are the following:
$7 ($2.50 hat and $4.50 lights 20 count) for flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and trumpets
$10 ($2.50 hat and $7.50 lights 50 count) for trombones, tuba, and drumline
Payments will be received, and lights/hats given out on this Monday and Tuesday from 4:30pm-5:30pm in the SMS cafeteria. Parents may come pay/pickup lights/hat or send money with students.
