This prestigious honor is awarded to a non-certified employee in Yuma County schools who stands out among colleagues and demonstrates a long-term commitment to education.

Criteria for this award include a strong and positive work ethic, exceptional dedication, and an influential presence that makes a meaningful difference within the school system.

Morning Parents, As we continue to experience rainy weather, we kindly ask for your support in reminding your son or daughter to be extra careful around our outdoor campus and courtyard areas, as they may be wet and slippery. Following staff directions during these conditions helps us keep everyone safe and prevent any possible accidents. If your child needs to bring an umbrella for dismissal, we highly recommend choosing one that can fit inside their backpack. If the umbrella is too large to fit, please make sure it has your child’s name on it. These umbrellas will be kept safely in their homeroom class during the school day. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe .

Hello Parents, This morning, our campus conducted an evacuation due to an alarm that went off in the cafeteria. There was no fire reported, but as a safety precaution, we evacuated all students and staff. The Somerton Fire Department quickly arrived and assisted us in assessing the area. Once they confirmed that everything was safe, students returned to class and continued their normal school day.

Hello Parents,

Today we spoke with our students about not bringing aerosol deodorant sprays or glass cologne bottles to school. These items have caused some disruptions and also present safety concerns. We kindly ask for your support in ensuring that students leave these items at home to help us maintain a safe and distraction-free learning environment.

Thank you for your partnership and have a great weekend!

Hello Parents, to ensure our Cobras have a successful week please make sure they follow school appropriate dress code and bring only the necessary school materials in their backpacks. We have noticed an increase number of students wearing smartwatches and earbuds under their hair, these items are also electronic devices and disciplinary actions will be taken if they are visible on students. We highly encourage you to connect with us through the ParentVue app to monitor grades but also attendance and behavior notes. We greatly appreciate your support!
